The Perfect  Getaway

Welcome to the The Florence Trail Cottages. We are conveniently nestled between Asheville (17 miles) to the Northwest, and the Southeast is Bat Cave (5 miles), Chimney Rock (8 miles) and only 11 miles to Lake Lure.

Our Cottages are situated at the base of the Florence Nature Preserve, a 600 acre wooded tract in the Hickory Nut Gorge, which is owned by the Carolina Nature Concervancy, where there are Waterfalls, Picnic Areas, Rock Outcroppings and Traversing Streams with breathtaking views.

A hikers dream where you can enjoy the beautiful and unique natural heritage. There are numerous trails from beginners to those who want something more challenging. 

But if hiking is not your thing, then you can always just sit and relax and do nothing but enjoy the mountain air!!

Our Vintage Cottages have all the ammenities, you just need to bring food and your toiletries!!

We provide everything you need, including Pots/Pans, Dishes, Glassware, Utensils, Linens, Towels, Satellite TV and Wireless Internet.
There is an Outdoor Grill when you just can't stand to be indoors!!
